Yes, but trying to determine it from some of the reprocessed cents could still prove difficult. The coin's edge on an original has a darker color to it. The metal sheets that the blanks were punched from were plated top and bottom before punching. That leaves an unplated steel side still visible on a struck coin. Modern Lincolns are plated after they are punched from the blanking strips. The easiest way to know a genuine 1943 LWC is to have a genuine example to compare others to.
