    Storing cents?

I was just wondering what is the best way to store Lincoln cents? I currently have two dansco albums one for regular issue and the other for proofs. I have several early date BU coins and would like for them to retain their luster. Is this the best way or is there another? All comments are fully Welcome. Thanks.

Some people have trouble with album toning even in Dansco's...even though I have not experienced it, even with my proofs. I'll bet the consensus is to keep your proofs and BU's in coin slips to retain the original luster. I do keep silica packets in my safe and try to keep my coins away from extreme temperatures.

For valuable coins individual hard plastic holders are preferable because it prevents them being scratched.

Use flips that are not plasticized or made of vinyl. Store the flips either in archival boxes or non-plasticized sheets (they hold 20 flips). I have had issues with Dansco - a new one. My old one never caused a problem.
