"Uh, quick question. If this is a slabbed MS64 Red 1992-D RDV-007, can someone explain why it does not show on the ANACS pop report?"

I sent in some variety Lincolns over a year ago that are still not listed in the POP report....so I would not say the ANACS POP listings are accurate at all.

Which was why I asked Jason, when he had the same response. Why have them? Isn't that irresponsible? Being that the UPC number is not visible, how can a potential buyer see if it is legit?

I agree with Dennis, this will not hit $20k.

And I would just suggest sending an email to ANACS about the pop report. If they cannot update it, they should just take it down. Anything not appearing is just going to insight questions and concerns.

I hear you guys, but the one thought I had was that the losing bidders all had to be willing to spend more than $20K the last time.....although the grade was a big factor. Guess we'll see if it goes up on the block.

At some point the impression that this is a ulra-rare coin is going to give way and collectors are going to hold out for fear the price will drop - thus dropping the price. I could also be wrong. We'll see.

I understand that, but my beef with ANACS is if this coin is real, it should be on the pop report, which it does not. As far as the "found" coins. I doubt they were recently found. More along the lines of recently found out how much they would fetch before letting the world know more exist.

Sean, my 1996 DDO #1 I found back in December still isn't in their pop reports. They're way out of date, and they need help... I actually offered my services to them (database and backend work), but no answer of course. Maybe it's time for me to put the steel toes on and kick them in the butt ;)

Absolutely. I feel they are cheating those that have submitted to them. The pop report should be accurate so that others, like myself, can go and checkout what is out there BEFORE we make a purchase. Bad business, and it is not something that is hard to do. I feel that by entering a coin in their system should trigger a change in the pop report for that given coin. Is this wrong to expect?
