    1917-S well circulated coin May be a DDO

    I found two 1917-S well worn cents. There seems to be signs of separation on the 7 of the date and Liberty has some possibilities as well. Since I am not familiar with this date I will ask for opinions.: The coins have a great amount of ware but the Date and MM seems Good. Here are a few pics.

    The 7 in the date definitely took a hit. I think the "split" is just a coincidental contact mark. I also don't see anything out of the ordinary in LIBERTY...sorry Lucien.

        I saw the hit on the seven which put a dent on the date. I think that closes this query. Thanks for the help.
