This coin just stands out with the thickness of all letters & date. The pics will show what looks like doubling,but there is something special about the coin.
I see notching on some letters of LIBERTY but there seems to be some wear on this die so I would send this one in for final attribution.
Generally the 29S shows very bold strikes.
I see something too now...not a class VI extra thickness, but I do see some notching on LIBERTY with what looks like some seperation on a few letters in IGWT.
Yes, I see it as well. Not a typical class 6, more class 1 or 2 to me? Would really need to see this one in hand, but I do think you have something there. Great work and eyes!
Based on the photos, I see what appears to be MD on some of the letters, but not anything I believe looks like hub doubling. I would be happy to have an in hand look at it for you if you wish.
