I was following both your die 005 and 006 and was like befuddled with the 006 disappearing. Call them tomorrow.

Whats even stranger is the item showed up as sold, for the amount it was at with 2+ minutes to go. The winner already paid. I'm not sayin the coin would have gotten any more bids, but with the way things were going tonight, I kind of expected it to pull a couple last minute bids. The last bid was $16.49 with 2+ minutes to go and that's where it ended. Something just wasn't right about this to me.

This is the weirdest thing I have ever heard about an Ebay auction.. Im guessing someone hacked Ebay and wanted this auction to end and won!!

I can still see listings even after they close but this listing is gone. Strange!

I can say for certain you would have gotten at least on more bid - from me!! You can tell them that if you talk to them. What a bunch of baloney. I really would like to hear what happened. Nice job on the die #5 BTW!!

That is what you get when eBay pulls the auction. He will probably get an email telling him the auctions was pulled, but they will not explain why.

The auctions I bid on closed on time and without any glitches. I did however have one withdrawn with a few minutes to go and there was no reserve.Stranger things have happened.

57 minutes on the phone with ebay...broken english and all.
1st, tryied to tell me I violated ebay poilcy...that I gave a numeric grade to the unslabbed coin. No, I didn't. Show me where? She pointed to the Attribution numbering system. I said no, that's not a grade. That's the name of the variety.
2nd, if it was removed then why did a person get a "you won this auction" notice? If it was removed, then nobody should have won. I missed out on obvious future bids.

Well, after going around and around and around they finally said I can relist it. Thay are in the process of contacting the buyer and refunding their money. I'll wait for that, and will start over.
                      Brother, what an ordeal.

Not funny at all,but at least they are doing the right thing in the end.

What a horror story. This came up in another thread too about variety attributions. I wonder how long it will be before all the scum out there cause Ebay to stop listings with variety numbers unless they're slabbed?

If that happens there will be VERY FEW to choose from. Most varieties do not warrant the added expense of slabbing.

I agree Sean. It didn't stop them with grades though.
