Here's three coins from one roll. 1993 has a clash below the ear. The 1992 has a rev clash between the pillers. The 1987 has what looks like MAD on the obv.

Sometimes die wear on dies from zinc cents from that era developed a bulged area like a ridge. If that's what it is it's a very extreme example but that's my thought.
