Here are four of my best graded. Half of my ungraded are 65-68. The rest are the other half.
I am at 418 2000 Wide AM. I have one unopened bag and four unopened boxes. I bet they don't yield one. Finding 6 in 150,000 is something else. What a haul! He is in the right location and has the right mindset to eventually hit the jackpot. Searching 150,000 is a feat accompli.
Someone has asked for pics of the reverse dies, and so I will begin posting them.
This first die looks to me to have similar characteristics as the 1999 Wide AM # 3, and Billy has weighed in that it is not. It sure is curiously enough like the 99, though. I will also start posting other varieties as well. Gotta share..
This is a die which represents about a third of my collection, and it is notable in that is so very unremarkable to me. Now someone like Billy or Bob from Coppercoins could spot it's characteristics a mile off, but I am still a novice, even after years here. This hobby will humble ya!
I called this striated, but it is just die polishing gouges, but very pronounced die markings. One feature of this die is that all of them are also wavy steps.
Moreover, wavy steps are a common feature of many of my Wide AM's from 2000.
Polished lines or just ejection markings, I am not sure.
This die, (which is similar to the 1999 wide AM) has these unusual diagonal markings. And puzzlingly some do not. The 2000 Wide AM DDR's also have these markings, and then some do not. Among the striated, no doubled dies have been seen here, but doubled dies exist among the die which is similar to the 99 reverse, and the 2000 Wide AM reverse die ( the one without any notable other marks). I see about 50 or so DDR Wide AM's in the 2000. Those 50 are across three reverse dies, and so that makes about 15 per die I have found. All 2000 wide AM's I know of have DDR except the striated die. And a handful of DDR or so are also known in the 1999 Wide AM. More are known in the 1998 Wide AM, but still less than 50 are expected.
The last pic is a die which has the diagonal lines and the features which are similar to the 1999 wide AM.
On the last die, check out the outrageous wavy steps going on in this example.
