I found this today, a 1961 p I'm new at looking at Penny so do you think this one is a error or just a beet up coin. You can see the top of the memorial and the e.pluribus .unum. Thanks for looking
You have lots to learn, but you are in excellent company. Everyone who visits here (pros included) were once in your shoes. There is a wealth of knowledge in the form of years and years of experience and we will all help you... especially if you help yourself a little. Read up. Do internet searches. Books, etc. Peruse LCR. This site alone has an enormous amount of reference. Coppercoins.com will be one of your most important reference sites as well.
As stated, in this case, yours is a normal, damaged coin. (Also referred to as PSD. (Post strike damage.)
