    Wheat penny overload

I have aquired these pennies over the years and I am looking ti sell them, where would you advise that I sell them at?

1950's wheats- 19 bags of 1,000 wheat pennies
1940's wheats- 18 bags of 1,000 wheat pennies
1930's wheats- 2 bags of 1,000 wheat pennies
1920's wheats- 1 bag of 1,000 wheat pennies
1910's wheats- 1 bag of 1,000 wheat pennies

I also have 448 Indian head pennies 1880-1908

Find a collector, you will get more money than from a dealer.

You could also sell the bags individually on ebay.

They would probably go fast on eBay.

If selling slow to max profits you could sell them in 21 sorted 1000 piece bags.

If selling fast you could sell 8 bags of 5000, you could pick out the best 1000 coins to keep and still have 8 full bags to sell.

I would rather on a coin website, craigslist or even a pawn shop because I dont want ebay to take 13% of my money

coin clubs are good choice too ....

              I think most have auctions

my club avg about 2½ cents to 5 cents for normal wheats .... I think the 10s, 20s would get even more

You said you had that many left to sell. That is an offer to sell goods and as such, does not belong here. Enough said.

I haven't even posted in this thread since maineman deleted my posts. So I don't know why I'm being yelled at? Also my posts were deleted long after I posted them so it's not like I kept posting after the fact. Also, I wasn't trying to buy or make any offers I was simply just curious as to how much he was getting for them.

You're not being yelled at..."you guys" is just a figure of speech Bob used to include anybody that was posting after I deleted the posts. It is not a big deal, but offers/trades are only allowed on the Trading Post...the paying members paid for that privilege and it shouldn't be "worked around". Actually it is partly my fault, I should have warned wheatcollector from the beginning so it didn't get to that point because I had a feeling it would head that way.

Apologies for using 'You guys' instead of a specific name. Roger is correct in that it was just a generalized figure of speech.

Holy cow! I thought I had a lot. Thanks though. I can use this to justify my current obsession with coins easier to my girlfriend!!!
