Here are the pics of the 2014 cent I said I would add today. As mentioned, the coin is an EDS specimen and they still suffer from a lot of the same issues of the Shield Cents before them. These include die cracks on the head, die cracks and chips on the upper left shield edge, die chips on the C of cent, and what may be lathe lines or arbitrary scratches on the reverse.

No..they still do their own. Minor things like this are considered a normal part of the minting process. People like us are really the only ones to look at these that closely. 99% of the others out there could care less.

I'd trade you all my solid boxes for mixed boxes. I hate the shield cents. Unless there is a major doubled die I plan on keeping only a P and D for my year/mm collection.

Normally I hate getting solid shield boxes, and one of my pick up banks for months now has only had shields. So I go today hoping for a solid 2014 box and what do I get, a mixed date box! Really the time I want a solid box!

I picked up 2 solid boxes of 2013 cents 2 weeks ago. Interesting that 2014 is already out given that my bank recently had 2013 boxes.
