Here is a part of my collection of wheat cents. 67 steel cents in all. Haven't had time to search em all.

I know there are doubled dies and RPMs for the year...plus they are known for grease filled digits, especially the 3.

Or if you find a 1943 copper, bingo!

There is a class VI for this year for Philadelphia and past that I am not sure. And I did not see any rpms at all! But I have had a chance to look for doubling yet. I'm not the best at spotting the extra thickness. Still learning. And I wish one of these were copper! Or some of my 44's to be steel.

Don't we all...but be prepared to look thru thousands and thousands of cents just to find a $50 coin...you have to be determined.
