    Die Variety News Magazine Download?

Hey guys, I'm curious to see if there is any other resource I can use to download Billy Crawford's Die Variety Magazine files? His website is no longer around, and it's really tough as nails to source a the download or obtaining a copy of the master CD. Any help to get there will be gladly appreciated.

I have a copy, but I think it's well protected and can't be copied.

There are no way to get any of his info unless you are someone you know has it... there is no way to get it now
        Question?....
The PDF files that were free to down load from his website when it was up.....are those "legal" to distribute????
I know the CDs are copyrighted.. AND he informed me "YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTE THEM"...
I would think the PDFs are also copyrighted.. but were free so I don't know if they can be distributed?

I only ask as I have all the magazines as the PDFs from #1 to #26
and his cd-rom.."A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties 1909 - 2009"

I am always searching for another copy.. only seen it on e-bay once...posted here and someone bought it right away...

I have to agree and say there is no legal way to copy, download or distribute the information Mr Crawford's gathered and sold in these dvds and pdfs. An original copy would have to be found on the secondary market and purchased where the original owner gives up the rights to that information. We cannot distribute or encourage the illegal sharing of information on the Forum.

One might wade into the murky waters of "fair use" with this one since it would be used for education and not commercial gain, but the forum isn't the best place to test the waters.

Thanks everyone, I knew it would be a tall task. I'll just snoop around online at some of the other resources.

After each issue came out, you could download it for free for a period of time. Since he gave the issues out for free, it seems to me that anyone who downloaded them could distribute them to others. But I'm not an expert on copyright law.

I do some free lance stuff for people that put together pdf's of info they share, on various products they sell or market for informational purposes. If they have allowed someone to download their completed works for free as a pdf or any type file for that matter, Unless they clearly state after their materials have been released, their materials are no longer for distribution or downloading or sharing, those files can be shared or given to whoever anyone wants to share those materials with. Once the end user or person downloading them originally, has possession of the materials and has not been made aware by written request to no longer share those files, it is not a crime to do so. When downloading off the web, it is usually common to fill out some type of form with info about yourself before downloading. The site should also have the IP address of anyone downloading their materials if needed to later contact them if they wish to make them aware it is no longer allowed to share anything they have downloaded from a respective site.
