    Grading

I was wondering which grading service would be more advantageous to selling. I think ANACS is more variety friendly but pcgs sometimes has higher premiums. What does everyone else think?

You summed it up pretty well yourself.

PCGS will only grade varieties in the CPG (Cherrypicker's Guide). PCGS Plastic carries a higher premium than the the other two major grading services (NGC, ANACS). With PCGS you have to pay a yearly membership that is kinda pricey in order to submit coins. ANACS however, you don't. ANACS will slab all kinds of varieties from many different databases. Wexler, coppercoins, crawford, coneca, even trail die numbers. It all depends on your preference and ultimately what you plan to do with your coins.
