    Deciding which ones to keep?

Do you keep every Lincoln cent with a variety listing you find, or just ones with more value and higher grade?

At first I kept everything, then eventually I decided just to keep the mainstream high grade varieties. Now I sell off anything that I find on the bay that doesn't meet that criteria.

Always collect what makes you happy though, otherwise what's the point!

        I keep what I find interesting...and I built a "education set"
I have 1 of each Doubled die class for reference, 2 clashes, 1 each of die crack, die dent, lamination, off center, Miss Aligned Die, Strike Doubling, Garage vice job
I try to give extras to people and friends I know.... the ones with a value I sell.

Personally, Charity and I only keep slabbed discovery coins. When we have a new variety added to a site, we include the documentation and have ANACS holder it as "Discovery Coin". This is about the only thing we keep, as we sell coins to put food on the table!
