    25 year old untouched collection

Interesting collection came into the local coin shop today.
$265 face of LMC from 1959 - approx 1982, including a unopened 1975 $50 Brinks bag and all appear to be in Mint State.

The cool thing was they only wanted $10 over face for the hassle...

I feel like a kid in a candy store

I don't know where to start!

So from a preliminary look I've got 2 1/2 bags of rolls, 2 1/2 bags of loose and the 1 $50 1975 Brinks bag (rolls).

I'll post the inventory of rolls as soon as I clear my desk, but a quick look turned up some rolls that could be fun. I saw a 72P, several 60D's, a roll of wheaties (), some 64's and lots of D mint rolls, just to name a few.

          Way to excited...

            Hey Jon,
I think maybe it is a bit much to ask you to go through all those rolls and bags all by your lonesome. Tell you what, I can send you my address and you can send me at least a bag or two and about fifty rolls and I can get them searched for you quite quickly.

Congratulations on a great day for a coin collector!

Sure does look like a list I might have put together for searching.
Good Luck Jon. Have a great weekend!

Nice finds in MS rolls are many times keepers and if not, are usually easy sellers.

Gotten at a bargain price. Congrats !

Well here is the first report, I might not do the next one until after I get through the rest of the rolls, but the first rolls were fun.

I go through the Wheats, the 59's and the 60's with the following results:

                        1956-1DO-001
                        1957 "BIE" Die Break
1959 Minor Clip (Very nice BU)
                        1959-1DO-001
                        1960D-1MM-018 (x2)
                        1960D-1MM-026
                        1960D-1MM-033

Plus 50 or so split serif coins and a couple stronger MM I have yet to identify.

I'm enjoying these very much so far

That's a nice 'initial' list. And you said they look in mint state. Well many congrats. You'll remember these days for a long time. Happy hunting and enjoy all the coins. Keep control of your cents . I'm jealous. LOL
