1962P Doubled Dies (dazed and confused)

I have a BU example of a 1962P Lincoln Cent, but it is tough to attribute.

I think there may be doubling on both the obverse and reverse.

The doubling on the GOD might be MD (Machine Doubling). What do you think?

The doubling on the date is close to 1962P-1DO-018, but the markers are different.

On the reverse, the FG is similar to 1962P-1DR-004 and there is slight notching in the ONE CENT, but there is no mention of the obverse markers.

Maybe the only true doubling is on the date, but I am not sure.

    Any help is appreciated...

You're saying the date is also MD?

II just recently pulled 3 1962P DDOs from a BU roll. The date on yours is definatley doubled and its a good one!

The obv does look like a DDO.
From the pics I'm not sure about the rev, the FG looks strange.

62 has many doubled dies, minor ones in the proofs too.

I think this is WDDO-012. Check the markers.

Die varieties such as doubled dies, Repunched mint marks (RPMs), Over Mint Marks (OMMs), Repunched Dates, Overdates, coin design varieties, as well as regular coins and error coins.

The date does look like WDDO-012... Hopefully the markers match... The rest appears to be MD and die wear!!!

Thanks jallengomez and jfines, I checked it out and the markers are spot on. So, it is 1962P-1c-WDDO-012 and considered a "best of" variety.

I think all the other variances on the coin are fleeting (insignificant).

                    Much appreciated,

Good find, Allan. On a side note, the stuff on the Motto is slide-type MD, and the bottom of the motto seems to be the most common place I see it.
