    Wavy Columns

    Here is an example of a 1983P reverse. It is fairly well abraded (probably because of a die clash).

    Resultantly, the columns look wavy. They are probably just abraded unevenly.

      That must have been a deep clash or die damage to grind away that much die surface... The mint ruined a perfectly good clash or die damaged coin
