If you charge a shipping fee for your auctions, eBay will assist you in the printing of the shipping labels. These are normally at a discount. The fee you are talking about is a Final Value Fee on shipping which is approximately 10%. For example, I charge someone $5.80 for a Small, Flat Rate Priority Mail box. Ebay charges me $5.20 to print the label, and an additional 58 cents final value fee. You are not losing any money if you charge actual shipping. You have to remember that shipping charges may include your supplies costs as well. This is an avenue where it may reduce folks abusing the system by overcharging for postage.Bob Piazza
