    "50's cent"

If any one could help shed some light on what these cents (1954 s and 1951) may or may not be....
In the photo I see something amiss with 51's chin as well as the Liberty in 54 s. Being new to all this I really don't know what has caused them to look this way.... Some type of doubling or die error maybe? Or if the it is just something seen due to damaged coins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your 54-s is what's known as a BIE cent. It is basically a die chip between the B & E, it is collectible, but not extremely valuable.

I don't see anything on Abe's chin for the 51-s other than some staining.

The 49 appears to have PSD (Post strike damage), The 51 appears as Maineman stated, The 54S has the nice BIE... Not sure on the 54S date and MM... There appears to be something going on there but I can not tell for sure... The pic blurs to much when I zoom in... If possible a close up of the date and MM would help... Check out Cuds-on-Coins BIE section http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-bies/ yours may be listed or even be a new one???
