1982-P SMALL DATE DDR ZINC, 1988-P DDO EARLOBE

Hello all i am writing to ask if anyone else had found any of these 2 awesome!!! doubled dies over the years?...I look at lot of bricks every month and these 2 coins are eluding me..It would be awesome to find these for my collection or in that matter any of us in LCR...

Maybe one of these years they might land in my hand, then i will fall out of my chair in disbelief......

Please comment on this to let us know..

    Thank you,

I have seen both of the originals that were photographed for the site. Otherwise, I have had reports of 2 other 1982 DDRs but no other 1988 DDOs.

My understanding is that Billy Crawford found an obverse die from the 1982 DDR with a different reverse. That probably means the doubled reverse die was discovered and pulled. Of course there's no way to know how many coins were struck prior to that, but my guess is that it is going to continue to be a very rare variety.

Yes i agree it is going to be a very RARE die vitality to find...That is why i think the coin could be over 1K....
