Is there a stapler and stapels that lay Flat on both sides cause Im tired of flatening the back side with pliers , and it does not look very good .

Most staplers have a plate that can be moved to allow stapling in the standard way (legs in), or where the legs of the staples are spread out.

Most coin supply sellers offer a “Flat Clinch Stapler” for use on coin flips.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.

Trouble is that those require a strong surface to staple on. I use the spring loaded one and it is not flat. I don't like it either.

I use a MAX HD-10DFII. It uses small staples same as the old TOT stapler but closes them very flat. The stapler requires very little force to use, much less than most staplers, and is handheld so you can hold it in one hand while holding the 2x2 in the other.

I received the Max HD-10FL Stapler today and its what I been looking for . It's very easy to use. I dont have to place it on a table and put my weight on it . I just hold it in my hand, line up the 2x2 and lightly squeeze . Great ! Thanx for the leed on this item guys I realy apreciate it ! Scott

Oh ! I forgot to mention why I realy bought this stapler is to see how flat the staple lays on the back side as some claim and it is the flatest I have found. I am glad I bought it. Again Thanx Ray and Mainman .

Yep, best I've found. I used to use Tot 50 stapler and then my thumbnails to flatten the staples, but the MAX stapler uses same staples and squeezes them totally flat. Glad it works for you as well...Ray

Apparently there are more than one model. Which one did you get?
