1966 Quarter

This 1966 Quarter weighs in at 5.58 grams.
If you look at the A in America it is full, The other A too is almost full not defined the I and the N in God we trust are doubled if you look close enough. Among other things on this old Quarter. Does anyone know about these 25 cent pieces? Thank you MH
Also the inside of the 6 s are doubled too.

Looks like typical die deterioration for a quarter. Also, the center of the "A"s are very small, so it's not unusual to see them filled in.

Ken Potter has a page up with "other forms of doubling" which can be helpful if you are ever looking to see what die deterioration can look like on coins other than the Lincoln Cent. It does look different with different denominations. I suppose it has to do with the hardness of the different metals. Here's the link-
