    Doubled Die Listings

    Hi,
I'm having trouble finding some listings with images for some coins. I used to use coppercoins.com years ago, but now it seems their website just throws errors in both chrome and firefox alike. I have been using wexlers more than anything recently and it's a Great site, but then I run into pages like this. It seems for some years they only print out the listings but no pictures at all. (not complete)

Can anyone recommend a site that may have images that aren't posted on wexler's?

Everything you used to see on coppercoins as far as their listings go, is still there. The errors are programming issues, but you can still do a search for die varieties. As far as Wexler's site goes, not all years are complete. If the variety number is not underlined then there is no link associated with it yet. Some numbers have been assigned and will be updated when the die is available for photographs and attribution. No one site is complete...not even close.

I was afraid of that but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
      Thanks!

Tried it on my phone and desktop chrome in mobile mode and both still have many errors.
I was able to change some addresses manually to get what I need though so I'm working through it.

I have a coin that I think is possibly a doubled die that looks "almost" identical to 1984P-1DO-010but according to the die markers it isn't. Was going to post it in error attributions to get advice but I can't find an attribution for a DD. Should I list it under errors/other?

Just put it on Variety Attributions and just do not put a ddo number
            show good pictures
and tell us what you see and what makes you think it's a DDO
the number of members here will look and let you know an answer
Yours may be an earlier die state and the markers may not be there
            Good luck

Looks like I jumped the gun.
After looking again I saw an option for multiple strike and figured that must be what I was looking for. I never considered a DD as a variety and always thought it was an error so I never considered posting there.
Hopefully a mod can move it if needed and I apologize. I will get better I promise!

Don't worry... There is a learning curve... Some people learn faster than others so relax research and have fun... Even the pros haven't learned it all yet On Copper Coins I use this page to start my searches for Lincolns http://coppercoins.com/advsearch.php and have not had any problems... Hope that helps a little!!!

Thanks @jfines69, That link was exactly what I needed.

I hope I'm not overloading the boards right now. I went through a bazillion pennies years ago when I joined this board, but I was just a wee pup and marked all these coins I found that had anything interesting at all on them. I am going back through them now to cull my collection of the junk and get things properly cataloged. I had some life and health issues that took me away from this, but I'm trying to rejoin the fray.

So I have a couple coins right now I'd like to post and want to post them in the right sections. One is what appears to be some very interesting PMD that I just want to hear thoughts on, and the other I can't determine if it's a die chip/crack, clash or DD. Where would you recommend posting these items based on my descriptions?

Thanks for all the help and support!

As most folks on here, Coppercoins is my go to also. I also use Wexler's site a lot. If you haven't looked at Variety Vista lately, there have been a ton of images added. Check it out: http://varietyvista.com/index.htm

If not sure you can always post them in Collector Q and A http://www.lincolncentforum.com/foru...lector-Q-amp-A any of the moderators can move the thread once something is determined... Glad that some of your life and health issues have worked out enough for you to return... I have over loaded the boards before not fun for the moderators or any one else looking through the forum If memory serves me correctly I posted 10 coins same year and MM with similar errors within 30 minutes... Needless to say there were some seriously unhappy moderators I blamed it on pain meds
