No a die crack is a die crack.
a die as it is used will crack. sometimes once sometime many times
with 1983 cents I have one crack on all 4 corners of the memorial. I also have 2 crack, 3 cracks and 2 different dies that have 4 cracks, one on each corner.
You might want to give us the year of your cent.

Nice cracks... Does the lower crack run down the roof into C1 and B1 or is that a piece of string??? The coin is plated but what year is it???

No a die crack is a die crack.

I believe he was saying he has a double die-crack, meaning 2 die cracks, not a "doubled-die crack." Got to be careful using the word double, lol. So yes, your coin exhibits 2 die cracks. Not very unusual, but a good example. Welcome back.

Will, I think the problem is me. I meant: No it is not rare. a die crack is a die crack. does not matter if there is 1,2, or 3
now a Rim to Rim crack is a little rare.
