Early Release Formative Years unopened boxes.

At Union Station and at Hodgenville Ky the first Log Cabin cents were released on the same day, simultaneously. I got an unopened box from Union Station that was assembled at CWI 103 in Harrisburg Pa. The first strike boxes from Hodgenville Ky were ALSO assembled at CWI 103 in Harrisburg Pa. My box is the same date, May 09, 2009, as the Hodgenville Boxes, and there was also a May 04 group of boxes, as well as undated boxes.
Essentially, the die patterns may well be the same or comparable: little wear, few anomalies. The whole idea then is simply having the early release box, unopened, either from Union Station or the other location of release.
The rail splitter issue was released on the 14th, and those same CWI boxes surfaced, just like the Hodgenville releases, at Union Station. All were assembled at Harrisburg Pennsylvania.

I said all that to tell you that there is a date stamped box of rolls for $1,695 dated for the 14th on EBAY. Call it early releases if you care to. Jeepers.
However, also there are SEVEN MORE $259.00 boxes dated May 09 from CWI 103 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on EBAY right now. I think, and it is my opinion, that these boxes are the same as the other rail splitter release that folks had to wait in line for.
And I will tell ya what else. I think the prettified rolls that they are gouging us to the tune of nine dollars for were meant for the ceremonial release in Hodgenville, but they got stuck with them when the disabling ice storm shut the place down. So they cooked up the idea of selling for profit what was intended to be their high profile rollout in Hodgenville because of that ice storm. Just me thinking aloud again.
I now have my early release boxes from BOTH issues, thank you very much. For the Rail Splitter, now you can too.
    Happy hunting.

    Anyone want to see....

The pictures of the stamps on the boxes. I was going to post them, but then there has been no interest, no replies. I have multiple Hodgenville boxes.

It's my understanding CWI stands for CoinWrap, Inc. and the number is the location.

Coin World or Coin Wrap International....

They have it all locked up for distribution. These are GREEEEEEAAAAAT boxes to have with a pre-release date. They can be certified early releases, so long as the box is unopened. One board member has purchased since I posted, so that is great, everyone here has a shot at what will be a cheap buy later. I have been offered $2,500 for my Log Cabin early release box. The Rail Splitter early release box will be the same, so jump in.

I don't know about anyone else who could not go to the ceremonies, or don't have a federal reserve bank in their neighborhood. I am not able to travel, and I doubt if I will even see the 2009 releases here for a very long time. Thank you Legend, for letting me know about these.
