Ok guys check now this 1971 with 3.3gr sometimes my scale hit
3.4 i am assuming this is a 3.399 to 3.400 gr its just little heavy from normal weight...
There is a thread somewhere on the forum where somebody took a sampling of weights and how much variance there was. Personally, I don't pay much attention unless the weight variance is enough to prove, beyond a doubt, that the coin is something other than it was intended to be, and valuable enough to make it worth my time....but that's just me.
Well i just cause check this pic
You never Know what you can find out there.. that pic was yestarday but its just my personal opinion.... it's take more time
To check lincolns... Lol
Well, you misunderstand me...that coin is exactly what I do look for because there is a specific weight that tells me I have something...it's just a matter of learning what to look for
Nice over weight cent... Just like me chubby I keep my over and under weights also... Don't have a bunch of them but still have a few... Your scale fluctuates because of how sensitive it is... If you breath on it when weighing it changes I know because I have done that with mine
Jim (A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!
