I sent off 15 variety coins of mine to be certified by PCGS in December as part of their economy service. Most of these were ebay picks from this past year. Anyways I'm pretty happy with the results! The 1926 is the WDDO-001 plate coin which is not a FS variety, but I wanted it in a PCGS holder regardless.
That has to put to shame, any group I ever sent in for a submission..Very Well Done indeed.

Thanks Bob. It was definitely a good group. I'm sure you've sent in some fine coins though as well! Each of these coins has an interesting story in my opinion, but probably only in my own mind!

Nice group of coins.
What do you think of the new PCGS holders?
I love it. Much more solid and feels more natural to hold than the skinier version. Plus I think it's a better looking holder, though I still don't like the faded blue they use on the label since last year.

Nice return on your submissions....did they all make the grade you were hoping for ?
Indeed my main criteria was met for each coin. I was hoping for MS63RB on the FS-1101 (it's only maybe 20% red though and I'm happy with 64BN) but other than that they were at or above my expectations. I knew the bar moved for grading, but honestly I didn't realize quite how much.
Late to the party, but amazing work Dan!! It's a special feeling to "make" coins like these and you sure made some nice ones!!! Nice to have them entombed, protected and recognized for the treasures they are! Well, well done!
