Is there any 1982 pennies that should weigh 3.11 grams

82 is the year they changed to zinc so they made both copper and zinc so there are both weights.

There are 7 types of bus strikes plus the proof.

    The 7 bus strikes:

    82-P LD zinc
    82-P LD copper
    82-D LD zinc
    82-D LD copper
    82-P SD zinc
    82-P SD copper
    82-D SD zinc

82-D SD copper would be the 8th type but only one or a few were made, worth a lot.
