Not to make this anymore complicated, but if the final list also had columns for the other major designations (i.e., Crawford, Coppercoins & Wexler), if known, that would be helpful.

Is "1971 DDO ? FS-102 (FS-030.7)" still listed in the CPG? Everyone delisted that coin ages ago. I don't think it should be included in the final list.

And, some of the DDO #s are wrong because CONECA changed the numbers after the 4th edition. Not sure how many are impacted, but I know off the top of my head 1959P FS-022.3 is no longer listed as DDO-004, but has been changed to DDO-002.

Okay, to further my comment about CONECA's #s, I would suggest someone go through and double check all of them with the current database. Maybe it could be broken into sections and different LCR members could help. I can help this afternoon...

I know the 1982 DDO also changed numbers on CONECA from 2 to 1.

Thats as far as the CPG goes. Even thought they have numbers for the rest, they didnt publish them

and 59 1c-022.3 is 2-0-II so alot of them might have to be crossed with Coppercoins becuz they seem to have the right one but CPG dont

The DDO-004 is what it shows in the new CPG.

That's just another strike against the 5th edition!

I think, in vol. 2 4th edition, in the back somewhere, they had a list (with no pictures) of a few newer Lincoln DDs that, for whatever reason, were not included in vol. 1 5th edition like the 2006-101 and 2004-801

Also some of the number have changed since the vol. 2 4th edition (in the back).

For instance...1951 d/s omm 1 was FS-501 and now it is FS-511. All the omms have had 3 different numbers.

Why does everyone keep playing this numbers game. I use to wonder why someone would bother to have an RPM slabbed to just say D/D OR S/S with no number. No wonder cause todays RPM-001 will be RPM-078 tomorrow.
Best thing to do is have your coin slabbed D/D S/S OMM DDO DDR whatever it might be and place a piece of tape on the back of the slab to write todays number on. Easy to change later.
No wonder you cant find something when you look it up. Joe

I did that too. They will right the new number on it. It will not be a problem.

That is de-listed in my files as it is a cluster of die gouges. Though I can't speak for other attributers, but I believe it was de-listed by them also.
