All,
I'm in need of help with a 1909 DDR project I'm working on with John Shields (aka Chugly) here on the forum. As it stands, there are 21 DDR listings for Wexler, 12 listings for CONECA, and 6 listings for coppercoins. Many of these listing are cross referenced already, and a few have cross-references which I have not had the opportunity to share with John Wexler yet.
My current situation is that I have around 300 coins that are all 1909 DDR coins which are being worked over for a full stage listing for each different die. My estimation is that there are at least a dozen unlisted 1909 doubled dies, in addition to those already listed by Wexler, CONECA, or coppercoins. Unfortunately, even with the large number I've acquired, I still could use considerable help with tracking down different die stages and dies. If anyone has any 1909 DDR coins (attributed or unattributed) I would love to have the opportunity to study the coins.
As a thank you to anyone who lets me and John borrow their coin(s), I will be giving out some varieties as a thank you, as well as thanking individuals in an acknowledgement section if we are able to publish our findings.
I have many coins I would like to give out to those who are able to help me, including the following.
1934 DDO-002 1DO-003 WDDO-004 (MULTIPLE CIRCULATED)
1937-S DDO-001 1DO-001 WDDO-001 (MULTIPLE CIRCULATED)
1938-D DDR-001/RPM-2 1DR-003/1MM-2 (MULTIPLE CIRCULATED)
1944-D RPM-8 1MM-8 WRPM-9 (MULTIPLE CIRCULATED)
1959-D 1MM-050 LDS (BU)
1959-D WRPM-062 Stage C 1MM-036 (BU)
1962 WDDR-002 (PROOF)
1970-D DDO-008 WDDO-007 Stage C (BU)
1970-S RPM-001 (BU)
1970-S WDDO-019 (MULTIPLE BU)
Assorted certified doubled dies and RPMs are available as well.
Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated.
Dan Griffin
