    1969D with Counterstamp

In my ten years or so of collecting I have on three occasions found Lincoln's with a counterstamp. The most recent was a 1969D. Do these type of coins have any collectable interest within the coin community? BTW, the FG initial is clearly evident on the reverse. Picture attached along with the two additional coins I collected showing a counterstamp.

Counterstamps such as this are pretty common. They made them by the thousands, especially ones like yours. Some counterstamps on older coinage can be worth a few bucks. Here is a link I have concerning counterstamps.

Look at the 3 links I put in this thread, those are the same counterstamp as yours. It shows ebay listings and the cards that came with them:

Just adding in case you didn't know (I'm guessing you did), your second coin is a Masonic counterstamp, they even come with the embossed ones that really bulge out. They are also pretty common, I've found several types and dates.

I did not know that. Thanks!

Enlightening information from post 2 and 3. I had no idea that counterstamping is in itself a complex offshoot of coin collecting. Thanks!
