In the first pic is that an example of die deterioration doubling and in the second an interior die break?

I think you are right Dearing... but your photos are still grainy looking. Are you using a laptop now? I think I saw where you had gotten one. I looked at the specs on your new scope and I think I saw that the camera is a 1 MP. Can you adjust that setting to get more than 1 megapixels? If not and you are using a laptop to view your photos when you take them... here's a trick. When you have the image on your screen... use the laptop's "snipping tool" and snip the image you see on your screen. Save that image to your computer and see if it is a better, more clear image. -
I think that's as high as it goes, what is a snipping tool and where is it lol Ill look around for it... I might be adding too much light, im still trying to figure out lighting. Yes the G took a hit and those last two pics do look better! Did you find the snipping tool?
The plastic thing... I had to break mine off with pliers (it was just glued on) because it was not allowing me to get close enough for close ups. It broke off in two pieces and did not affect the scope at all. So... that's up to you if you want to try it
The Celestron I'm using has a 5 megapixel camera... but the snipping tool actually makes the pics look better, I think!Last edited by VAB2013; 11-25-2018, 12:49 PM.Comment

That's great! You got the plastic guide off! I'll admit I was a little nervous doing it because I thought it might crack the scope, but it was a piece of cake!
Okay.. the snipping tool... The photo in post #9 looks like it's definitely up closer, clearer and the focus looks very good too! What I did with the snipping tool, once I found it on my computer is, I saved it to my task bar at the bottom of the screen. That way when I am ready to do a pic, I always use the snipping tool because what I see on my screen is better looking quality than using the camera in the scope!Comment

Okay, here's how to find the snipping tool. Go to the left corner of your screen (where it says "Type here to search") and type in snipping tool. Snipping tool should pop up on the top of the list it finds. Right click Snipping Tool and "pin to taskbar" Then you should see a white oval thing with scissors on top of it down in your taskbar.
Let me know when you find it and we will go to step B!Comment
