    199x LMC date last digit?

There is only a very small piece of the dates last digit for this penny. Is this just post damage or something else?

    Thanks, Bill

Probably from a grease clogged die.
By grease it means grease with metal sludge (not soft fresh thin grease) so it's thick junk that can clog a die and stay there.

This looks like a struck through filled die (greaser) is part of TRUST missing or weak?

Here's the definition from our glossary. You can click the link below it to see pics.

Struck Through Filled Die: The most common form of struck through, a cent that is struck though a filled die will have missing or weak design elements. Since that portion of the die is filled or clogged with grease or dirt, that portion of the design will not be struck on the coin. Although this can affect any portion of a coin, some of the more well-known instances in the Lincoln series are the 1922 “Weak D” cents, as well as some of the “no FG” cents.

Reverse (rev)... The rev design for the 1992 was different from the 1993... The Close AM vs the Wide AM... Here is a link to VV on design varieties http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20D...0Varieties.htm Hope that helps a bit!!!
