It brings up the ever lasting question, what is a die variety and what is an error and what is a quality issue.
One of the oddball things is that attributors and sites gave die numbers for the 22 cents.
If you find an early die state from any of those dies that still has a D no TPG will give it the die number.
In my own OCD, I call these errors, maybe quality issues and I call the different ones "types".
It's one coin that gets referred to differently than all others, it breaks the rules we tend to accept in nomenclature but everyone has always described them that way.Comment
