So, going through the next 5000 coins. Haven't finished the first 5000 yet. (but, like a kid in the candy store). Here is a beautiful coin that I just looked at. Love the colors; the texture. Well, they don't have to be perfect. Each one with their own personality.
Some plating issues....but I agree with keeping what you like, that's what is great about the hobby. Also, I moved your post to start a new thread....our general guidelines are new coin = new post. It avoids confusion such as a member commenting on your first coin and not noticing the subject has changed
Sorry about that. Still learning. Thanks, Maineman. Seems like I may end up with a lot of coins. Can't bring myself to sell any. Some, I will. One day.

That's the dark side of this hobby....I just sold 50,000 Lincoln cents to another member, only because I bought a new house and started cutting down on the clutter
Sometimes, clutter is good. Lots of things to discover among the madness. Sometimes, is good to keep things, that one day you may need. Enjoy your new home. But, sometimes, it's also good to have a workshop.

Lots of gas bubbles... Just a matter of time until those bubbles begin bursting... Then there will be craters all over the coin... If you didn't know 1982 has large and Small Dates (SD)... Yours is a large date (LD) plated... Here is the info on LDs and SDs http://www.lincolncentresource.com/s...malldates.html Nice pics!!!
