    Let's play the game.

Grade this coin I haven't received from ebay yet. I don't expect that the color will be discernable but it is a great looking coin. When I get it in hand, I'll take a few of my own photos and post them.

I will stick my neck out first. Ok, if the spots are barely noticeable as in the luster is booming with coin in hand. Easy 65 RED. If the spots are noticeable, its 64 RED.

My answer is, "depends on who submits it."

I like it a lot, and because of that, I will go a bit on the low side. I am saying MS63 RD.

I'm with WS. MS65, unless the spotting is damage.

I don't think the rev spots will impact the grade severely but maybe the color and the obv ones are light enough I will say ms65 R/Bn

                Looks nice.
The thing that scares me is that in the pics it has nice luster on the obv, less so on the reverse. It doesn't really have cartwheel so that makes me wonder if it was recolored in the past then toned a bit.

If that isn't true and it grades I think the obv is 65 and rev is 63 so it might be 64RB possibly 65RB.

I still feel like your odds are better than mine! I posted another thread with my 1910 experience. It's been pretty interesting.

I got the coin today and oh boy is it way better in hand! Spots are not noticeable at all and it drips luster obverse and reverse. I was missing a 1909p in Red and this really fits the bill!20190319_121614.jpg20190319_121633.jpg

So does this mean you will be getting it slabbed?
                            (If so, the plot thickens!)

Yeah, I'm going to. I've got 4 or 5 coins I'm going to send in at the moment. But, I have an 8 coin voucher so I need 3 or so more before I send it in. I have another coin coming from ebay this week. A 1909 VDB FS-1102 that is gonna go too so maybe only 2 more coins.
