Looks like 2020 I have to start a New (old) Capitol Plastics Board
Looks like 2020 I have to start a New (old) Capitol Plastics Board
All these special cent strikes with Satins, 100th Anniversary, Reverse Proofs, West Point Mint Marks, etc., filled up my #4 board fast - on to Number 5!!
Yes, the next board has 90 holes also. These broads were made back in the late 60's and 70's before Capitol Plastics went out of business. When they restarted the business they made the boards longer and slimmer supposedly to fit in safety deposit boxes. But I like the older style. They are in my opinion the "original" slab. I still must lightly sand away the gold numbers under each hole in preparation of 2020. Back when I started collecting, the entire Lincoln Series fit into just 2 boards.
