Shield searching - plan of action!

This huge can of Shield cents was trying to intimidate me today, but I set out a plan of action (attack)!

My plan is to only search for the listed ones that I like the most! So, I'm sorting them by dates and what I am finding is... there are lots of them from 2016 to current and not many at all from 2010 to 2015. So it's going to be more of a challenge to find my favorite 2011, 2013 reverse, 2014 obverse and 2015's! There are a lot more 2018P's than anything else!

Moral of this story is... if you want to find those good older ones, you need a plan of action if your sorting turns out like mine has

Only one 2018D in the batch so far - although it's pretty unlikely that the doubled ear has made it's way to Alabama yet.

Added: Clarification - I am looking at the 2018's and 2019's just being selective with the other dates.

Thank you Bob! I work better with a plan, this way I can pull out the culls and only put what I want to see under the scope! Save time and try to search smarter 2010, 2012 and 2017 did not make the list so there's more time to get through the other years that are more interesting to search!

Oh my Anothony, I barely survived the 3 boxes of 2019P's that I stared at for about a month LOL! If those were 2018D's, you would have a bidding war for the doubled ear lobe!

Not today... I still have 15 rolls of my own 19Ds to look thru and I'm in florida

Maybe the 2010 - 2015s are lite in volume because they have already corroded away that or thrown down the deepest wishing well around I like your plan... That should make it a little faster and easier to make it thru them!!!

Thank you Jim! Yes Sir, I'm still looking for the 2010D but don't see many Denver cents, seen just a few 2018D but no doubled ear. For the years that I search I have found very few 2011, 2013 and 2014... but plenty of the other years.

I guess because this area gets a lot of beach goers and snow birds D coins make it here fairly easy??? This year tho I have gotten a lot of the solid 2019D rolls all Loomis!!!

Yeah Jim, that is odd for you to get those solid 2019D rolls. It seems like I am seeing fewer D cents lately, but watch... now that I just said that, my next brick will be full of them (hope not)!

Viv, didn't know there was a double ear for 2018D. I'll have to keep looking.
Interesting ideology.
I find 2010-2016's all the time. Some are decent enough.

That's too funny! I still haven't gotten the ambition to go through my 2019-P (3 boxes as well), yet.
