Major wheat penny score with customer rolls.

76 customer rolls 8-07-19.jpg76 customer rolls 8-07-19.jpg76 customer rolls 8-07-19.jpgLast Wednesday I made my weekly trip to the bank for penny rolls. I stopped on the way and picked up a dozen donuts for the tellers. They were happy to get them and the head teller said “now I’m going to make you happy too.” She then handed me a bunch of customer rolls with old wrappers and said they have years and words written on some of them. They sure did, the word “wheats”, 1944, 1950, 1951, 30’s etc. I left with 76 solid rolls, 3800 wheat pennies. It was a nice visit.

Sorry about the same multiple pictures.

Wow Mark! What a nice visit for sure! If I bring you a dozen donuts will you share a few rolls? LOL... just kidding! You really have a nice bank!

By all experiences for roll hunters - you have an exceptional bank! Can't wait to see what you find.

Nicely done. It's a pity not everyone can have that same rapport with their bank that you have with yours.

Right?!?!. I ask for a brick at mine and they all look at each other wondering what I want it for.

I am very lucky to have been able to develop the rapport I have at my bank. All the employees, including the branch manager are all very friendly. When they hire a new teller, they immediately introduce her to me saying "this is mark, he is our friend and our favorite customer."
            It's a nice feeling.
