    testing

Just testing if I can post directly without using a link.
LOL, I took this pic with an old flip phone like Wills.
    It's a 42 DDO die-4 super tough DDO.
This one is about like the CC example.
These are so rare, none found in high grades and only a few circs in the PCGS pops.

Excellent example to conduct your test Ed.
Images are there but not super clear.

Wow Ed! Congrats for finding this very scarce DDO! I bet this one just about floored you when you first saw it! I'll be, your flip phone did a fine job of showing the doubling on this fine looking DDO!

          Thanks Viv.

First time I ever posted without a hosting site and links.
It shows that with any phone and a loupe in hand it can show enough to say yes or no.
The key is, hold the loupe, take a few shots, crop them and zoom in and pick the pic that sort of works. It won't be great but like with this one, it gets the upper B and the spread where you see the opening of the underlying B, it is awful but still shows what needs to show to ID it. It's not going to work with the tiny stuff but any big variety will show.

Jim, It's not worth the effort with the flip phone LOL.

I could do good pics with my camera but I retired the old PC and have been too busy to get it set up with any camera.
I was trying to show that even with the worst setup you can still show a varieties pickup point well enough that people can see what it is. We get so many posts where people don't seem to try to show it and blame their setup but with a bit of effort I think it can be done with almost any camera or phone. The pics may be lousy but still can show enough to say yes or no in most cases.

My last 4 years have been so busy with the daughter and her brain surgeries and stuff but now she's doing good and the youngest kid in her kindergarten class. LOL, sort of looks like Jons avatar?

Ed, she is absolutely adorable, and she does have the sweetest smile! She is also very smart to already be in kindergarten at 4 years old! It is really amazing how she went through the surgeries so well, and look at her now! She is a beautiful little miracle!

                      Thanks Viv!

It has been a rough journey but worth it.
It's been so busy that I've searched some change and searched at shows but really haven't had time to search like I used to.
Maybe someday she'll be searching too. She has found a few coins on my coin walk already so she's getting close

You are welcome Ed! I know you are a proud father! That is so cool she is helping you find coins during walks, she will be asking for a loupe soon!

Yes. She planted the seed, picked the spot and watered it. At first I thought it was a weed then like Jack and the Beanstalk it grew very fast.

I agree that smile is adorable. So glad she is doing well.

Do you two plan on harvesting the seeds and starting again next year with them?
If you do, protect them from birds and mice over the winter.
We use to hang them up to dry and the mice said "Thank you very much!" all winter long.
