    PCGS Major Variety Designations

I use the PCGS Registry Set "Lincoln Cents with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes and Proof (1909-Present)" as the composition list for my collection. The major varieties aspect added quite a few coins that I would not have otherwise pursued. Attached is the list of varieties that PCGS has deemed major and included them in the set. I was wondering if anyone thought any of these should not have been included or if there are others that you feel should have been included.

I still do not have the 4 highlighted in red. The 58 and 69-S I consider unobtanium unless one of you nice folks would send me an example for Christmas!

The large and small dates on the 1974 PDS seem like a waste of ink?
On the "Date Alternate Size" for 1960 through 1982, are they a "real" variety to go with that designation for the years listed?

(ps. Congratulations on the 1990 No S proof.)

I guess I don't have a problem with the "major varieties" set other than they have the 1958 DDO in it. And like you, I will never be able to afford the 1969 S DDO.

The 1974's should not have been in the list. That was a typo. They are not in the registry set.

The date alternate size I just meant the large and small date varieties. If you go by the registry set that does not include major varieties, then they do not care which date size that is included.
