    On Line Auctions

I have almost no experience in this area. I have a couple of questions related to bidding on higher end Lincoln examples.

How does Great Collections compare to the others?

Is it just as good to simply enter the maximum amount one is willing to pay (recognizing the buyer's fee to be added) early in the auction and forget about it until the results are posted?

Good question, but sorry, I don't have an answer. I sold some coins (Lincoln varieties) there when they first started but I was a seller and they were just starting out.

I've bid on there stuff before - greatcollections. There buyers fee is 10% with a minimum of $5 fee which is great in comparison. When you pay at checkout the fee is a little higher like 5% but don't quote me on that for using credit. I usually pay with a check because I don't want to pay the extra fee for using credit which they add on to the end when you choose shipping..

That is probably the best way to handle it but that's easier said then done when it's coin you've been looking for a long time.

I usually follow along but can't resist looking at the bids from time to time and talking myself into "just one more bid".
