Is there a resource on Re engraved 1950 Proof cents?

I can't find anything but I know it must be out there somewhere. I saw this coin selling on eBay and was curious. Of course the guy wanted to much to buy it Lol.

    Thanks in advance
    Bob

        Found it on VV. http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20D...RED%201950.htm

Obverse Design Variety 15 (ODV)- Full Trench Around Head.

        (Under "Home")

        Click on-

        Click on-
        Obverse Design Varieties

        Then find-
        ODV-015
        (Full trench around head)

        Click on- 1950 RED

Thanks for asking because I didn't realize there is a "RED" for 1950 and 1939 as well.

(The images for the 1939 "RED" look like a proof but VV doesn't mention proof in the desrciption. Hmmm)

        ps. I agree with Will.

Here is what appears to be a VEDS example I found on a PCGS trueview.

Just curious if you were aware of the 1939 RED varieties?
Are they both Proof coins? (Never mind. I see they are in the "Proof" column.)

(I wasn't even aware of the 1950. LOL)

Now where in the world did you find the second RED variety for 1939. (VV only has one listed.)

I was searching the PCGS photo file and found it. Stuck out like a sore thumb. With absolutely no statistical background - my observation is the second one is very common. The one on VV did not show up as much.

Interesting, first time I've heard of a Lincoln RED.
