1996D Lathe rings

I just checked the six pictures Joe posted for the lathe dies and could not find this one. Do you think it might be new, or am I just seeing things, again?
Oh, both are the same coin with different lighting.

Thanks Jean, I've started looking through some Lincolns...trying to ease back into it having a heck of a time recognizing anything...lots of second guessing so I will have to post pics soon for verification.

Just curious. Is it just the 1996-D's that have the lathe rings? or do any other years, MM's have this?

I have seen reports of a few other years on the reverse of a LMC (maybe a 2004) and an '88 Jefferson.

I am not done, but I started putting the 6 different dies on a website:

I would like to photograph any new dies, different die states or other denominations with LLs...
