In the past I have seen NF String and also Brink's Shrink Wrapped roll's. It seem's to me that Brink's coin's(the best of my memory) have coin counter damage. Has anyone else encountered this difference in wrapping Companies?

I've only gotten Brinks once. I don't remember an excessive number of damaged coins. I can't complain about NF String.Comment

Another reason I ask is: I have 35 roll's of 92 D that I had broken open 2 yrs ago. Now that I started to look at them the damage is across the States down to the Cents on the Reverse. There is also damage on the Obverse in the same direction. I rarely ever see that on String wrapped coins. I was just curious about your opinion on the 2 Companies.

Thank's David. I haven't found 1 yet. It seems to be consisntent on all the coins.

I think I read somewhere that N.F.String just makes the wrapping machines and papers.
I think that companies like Brinks, Dunbar, Wells Fargo etc. use the machines to count and wrap the rolls.
I wonder if there are other brands of machine, and/or if its an adjustment problem.Comment

I have come to the conclusion that each coin from a certain die that produced them: The element's on the coins were under high pressure. The higher the element's on the coin the more drag, scrapping were more than 1/8 maximum. Regardless of the wrapping CO. it's just part of production.
