Hi Ken - Rotated dies are collectible. The Mint established a 12 degree limit on rotation of dies, so anything 15 degrees and over is gravy. Of course, the high the rotation, the more it is worth.

I haven't found any rotated dies yet ,but am looking. Like most things, there is a collector's niche for them. Just curious, why are you asking Ken? Do you collect them yourself? or did you find some?

            Congrats BJ.

              Rock,i've found 2 so far.1999-d & 1983-p.can't tell how far rotated,but it's quite a bit.
              Personally,i don't collect them.in 2x2& put away.

Also found a 1864 2cent piece last year in a roll of quarters.
This coin is rotated 180 degrees.

              Ken.

That's really cool. Must have made your heart jump a beat when you saw that pop out of the roll.
