    Euro Cents

This is a 1990 1F Luxembourg Euro out of a collection set.
I need to know if anyone has this coin. I've searched the internet and the pictures are so small I couldn't see the face of the coin.
There's die cracks all on the head. Now, those lines you see on the lower neck, jaw, and cheek. Is that what the coin looks like? Or what I'm seeing is doubling/cracks? Thanks for looking.

From what I can see in the pictures tt looks like a die crack from the rim southward at the back of the head, but the other part looks more like a die clash, but of what I do not know. Of course, I cannot be sure about that.
It is a really nice find!

Here is a link to a picture of a 1989 1 Franc coin that should answer your question about the die craks( they are cracks you point to). Just an informational note also. Anything after the European union adopted the monetary system it now uses (January 1999) is called a Euro. In this case, this coin is a Franc, and not referred to as a Euro.

          Re: 1990 Euro 1

Thanks again Bob. I just looked at the link.
There are no die cracks or any facial lines on it to indicate what I have on mine. Not even close.
What do you suggest I do to further satisfy my curiosity?

WHOA, Aisha! I am not by any means a pro about anything... except maybe... well, perhaps... yet again... aw shucks, I am not any of that...

You know I sometimes see things other people don't see.
It happened at my mom's place on a warm June evening in San Francisco one night a long time ago. I pulled into a parking spot, which isn't easy in the early evenings in SF, and got out of my car, and looked across the street there was a 7' tall pink bunny standing on the corner. When I looked down to take my keys out of the ignition then looked back up it had disappeared. To this day no one has believed me.
                But honest, it was there...
                it really was...
