Didn't the wheats have alot of the wood grain look that collectors like to have... It wood (LOL) be awesome to find new LCs' with the wood grain!!!

The wood grain effect was due to an improper alloy mix of the copper used to mint pre-1983 cents. I don't see how any coins after this date can have the same affect since we are talking about plating a zinc core. IMHO, this coin looks like it is stained, not the wood grain affect we associate with the older wheats.Bob Piazza

i wasnt too happy with it. That was the best of 8 tries. Itll do for now.
