Encapsulation of trail dies

I have been asked to address the encapsulation of trail dies by a TPG.

Yesterday, I talked with ICG about my recent submission for encapsulation that included both trail dies and mad die clashes and was informed that they would be mailed out to me in the beginning of next week.

Soooooooo, when I do receive the order, I will post the results along with some pictures. If all goes according to plan, ICG will be the TPG to go to with both these anomaly types (or in fact any variety / error coin).

ICG does not have a registry like NGC or PCGS Roy, at leadst i could not fnd one on their website, http://www.icgcoin.com/Default.aspx?tabid=752 on another note B.J.do you think ANACS might pick this up as well?

I think they may. However, who knows. ANACS is aware of both maddieclashes.com and traildies.com.

This is good news...it really depends on demand however and we are the demanding collectors who could make this possible. We just need to apply some pressure and maybe some money...that always talks loudest.

ANACS (and others) recognize the potential profit. There will be no need to toss them any money. They'll make theirs over the natural course of doing business with collectors who desire their service.

Great news BJ! I have 2 coins, one strong clash and one trail die that I want to get encapsulated so Im excited to see how they will look in the slabs.
